A leading medical devices company in Malaysia is looking for an experienced IT Executive to provide senior-level technical support while ensuring compliance with ISO 13485. Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or system administration
Strong knowledge of networking, servers, desktop support, and system troubleshooting
Proficient in Windows OS, MS Office, Active Directory, user access control, and system security
Good understanding of data backup, disaster recovery, antivirus, firewall, and cybersecurity controls
Knowledge of IT SOPs, system change control, risk assessment, and validation documentation
Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
Independent, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential and regulated data
Good communication skills to liaise with auditors, internal departments, and external vendors
Preferably aged 28–35 years
Job ResponsibilitiesProvide senior-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues
Ensure IT systems comply with ISO 13485 requirements, including data integrity, access control, backup, and traceability
Develop, implement, and maintain IT SOPs, policies, and work instructions
Support internal and external audits (ISO 13485, customer audits) by providing IT documentation and system evidence
Manage user access control, system security, antivirus updates, firewall monitoring, and cybersecurity measures
Oversee data backup activities, disaster recovery testing, and business continuity planning
Assist in SQL-based system implementations, validation activities, and user training
Perform and document system change control, risk assessments, and validation activities
Maintain IT asset registers, system documentation, logs, and audit trails
Liaise with external vendors, service providers, and consultants
Continuously improve IT processes to enhance compliance, efficiency, and audit readiness
