Senior Interior Designer (Office Fit Out Project)

Keith Ho Design Sdn Bhd – Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur

Keith Ho Design (KHD) is expanding our core team and is looking for a Design Lead / Senior Interior Designer to lead the design function, guide the studio team, and be a key client-facing representative for our commercial and corporate office projects.

This role sits above the Interior Design team and works closely with the Founders, Project Managers, and Studio Manager to ensure design quality, clarity, and ownership from concept through execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall design direction and quality control for commercial, corporate office, retail, and public-space projects

• Guide and mentor interior designers, ensuring consistency in design language, detailing, and deliverables

• Translate client briefs into strong, practical, and buildable design concepts

• Review and oversee 2D drawings, 3D visualisations, and technical detailing

• Prepare and lead client presentations, design workshops, and proposal discussions

• Act as a primary design contact for clients during the design stage, including follow-ups and revisions

• Work closely with Project Managers, director and site teams to ensure design intent is carried through on site

• Identify design risks early (budget, constructability, timeline) and propose solutions

• Uphold and continuously improve KHD’s design standards, templates, and workflows

Qualifications

• 5–8 years experience in commercial / corporate interior design

• Proven experience leading projects and presenting confidently to clients

• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and decision-making

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Suite

• Solid understanding of materials, detailing, and construction coordination

• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines

• Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin

• Leadership mindset — calm, structured, and solutions-oriented
