A leading outsourcing company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Senior Industrial Relations professional to oversee and drive all aspects of industrial and employee relations within the organization. This role involves managing complex cases, providing expert HR advice, and representing the company in legal matters. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Law or Human Resource and have at least 4 years of relevant experience. An understanding of Malaysian labour laws is essential, as well as experience in managing sensitive employee issues.
We’re looking for a Senior Industrial Relations to join our HR team at TDCX. This role holds a key function in managing and driving all Industrial and Employee Relations matters across the organization.
Responsible for all industrial/employee relations activities, including investigations, disciplinary matters, and legal employment activities.
Represent the company in IR matters in court, including documentation preparation (e.g., show cause, warning, termination, and PIP letters).
Provide expert advice and guidance to business units on managing staff disciplinary issues in compliance with company policies, procedures, and local labour laws.
Develop and deliver training sessions for the management team to enhance understanding of HR processes, policies, and legislative updates.
Collaborate with the IR Manager to prepare materials and facilitate knowledge-sharing or training sessions on Industrial Relations topics.
Support the implementation of HR practices and ensure alignment with organizational strategies and commitments.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time, within your employment category, to ensure the effective implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System at TDCX.
Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Human Resource, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in Industrial Relations, with proven case handling exposure in court.
Comprehensive knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and employment regulations, with the ability to provide strategic HR advice.
Prior people management experience is preferred; however, candidates with a strong Industrial Relations experience are encouraged to apply.
Experience drafting IR related documentation such as show cause, warning, and termination letters.
Experience handling expatriate employees or supporting regional markets.
Comfortable managing a high volume of cases, including sensitive and complex matters.
Must be capable of presenting cases independently in court without reliance on external legal counsel.
