Job summary

A leading player in the Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Industry is seeking an Industrial Engineer/Senior Engineer for their expansion in Kuala Selangor. The position involves conducting efficiency analyses, implementing Lean Manufacturing, and designing optimized factory layouts. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and experience in manufacturing environments. Proficiency in Mandarin is required for client interactions. The role promises challenges in optimizing processes and driving cost reductions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Metal Stamping, Mechanical Assembly, Electro‑Mechanical, Automotive, or EMS environments is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in Mandarin as this role requires to serve a lot of Mandarin‑speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed time studies and motion analysis across production lines.
• Calculate equipment and manpower capacity requirements based on sales forecasts.
• Design optimized production layouts and line balancing strategies.
• Lead deployment of Lean Manufacturing tools to reduce waste and lead time.
• Develop and maintain product costing models focusing on labor and overhead.
• Collaborate with teams to implement new automation projects.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
