Job Description

Our client, a multinational life sciences group, is seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead and execute the full spectrum of Human Resources and General Administration activities across countries in Southeast Asia.

This regional leadership role is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring HR operations effectively support the company’s business objectives across multiple markets.

Job Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational HR Leadership
  • Lead and manage all HR functions across Southeast Asia, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and local business needs.
  • Work closely with the Group VP of HR and local management teams to drive HR strategies that promote organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
Employee Relations & Compliance
  • Build and maintain positive employee relations, providing guidance and resolution for HR-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations across all operating countries.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment for senior and critical roles, including role definition, interviewing, and selection.
  • Partner with leadership teams to forecast talent needs and ensure an effective workforce plan is in place.
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive structures and consistent administration.
  • Oversee monthly payroll operations in collaboration with external vendors, including commissions and incentive payouts for the sales team.
Learning, Development & Talent Management
  • Identify learning and development needs across the region and implement training programs to strengthen organizational capability.
  • Lead talent management and succession planning initiatives to develop high‑potential employees and future leaders.
HR Reporting & Analytics
  • Prepare and present HR reports, analyzing key workforce metrics such as turnover, engagement, and productivity to support business decisions.
Budgeting & General Administration
  • Manage HR budgeting, including employee‑related costs, headcount planning, and annual operating plans.
  • Oversee general administrative functions and ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 10–15 years of progressive HR experience, including regional exposure in a multinational environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to make data‑driven decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Demonstrated success in talent management, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long‑term planning and hands‑on execution.
