Job summary

A leading organization in Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR professional to support various HR functions. The role involves managing payroll, recruitment, training, and compliance with HR policies. Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in HR or a related field and have at least 5 years of generalist HR experience. Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English are required. The position is located at First Avenue Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya.

Job description

This position is responsible for supporting and executing a broad range of Human Resources (HR) functions to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations within the organization.

  • Human Resources Management: Support the full spectrum of HR functions, including payroll, recruitment, training, and day-to‑day administrative tasks.
  • Talent Acquisition & Recruitment: Assist with job postings, shortlisting candidates, arranging interviews, and preparing for onboarding and orientation of new joiners.
  • Payroll Processing: Process monthly payroll using HR systems. Ensure timely submission for EPF, SOCSO, PCB, EIS, and HRDF.
  • Training & Development: Coordinate training schedules and assist in planning employee development programs.
  • Leave & Attendance Management: Maintain and update employee records related to attendance, leave, and overtime.
  • HR Policies & Procedures: Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed and aligned with legal requirements and company standards.
  • Employee Welfare Programs: Support staff welfare initiatives, including benefits administration (medical, Group PA insurance, leave entitlements, etc.).
  • Performance Management: Assist with performance review processes and help set KPI targets for employees.
  • HR Operations & Reporting: Maintain accurate HR data, analytics and reporting for management review.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Take on any other tasks or projects as assigned by your supervisor.
Job Requirements
  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree / Advanced Diploma / Diploma in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with HR software or systems (e.g., HR2000, InfoTech).
  • Strong communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written).
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • A team player with a positive attitude, good interpersonal skills, and high level of discipline.
