This position will focus on managing employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with labor law, and managing HR operations.
The role may also support payroll processes, depending on the experience.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Attend to employee queries related to HR policies, payroll, benefits, and claims
- Handle staff engagement activities, including event planning, communications, and employee initiatives
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and general employee lifecycle activities
HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and internal controls
- Assist in audits by preparing HR and payroll-related documentation
- Prepare HR reports and summaries for management reviewPerform any other ad hoc HR tasks as assigned by management
- Online submission for stamping of employee contract or confirmation letter
Payroll & Compensation
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including allowances, deductions, and statutory contributions
- Verify payroll data, attendance records, and employee information prior to payroll submission
- Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality of employee data
Claims & Reimbursements
- Verify, review, and approve employee claims and reimbursements in the system
- Ensure claims comply with company policies and required documentation
- Coordinate with Finance on reimbursement payments and reconciliations
Performance & Development
- Assist in performance appraisal processes
- Support learning and development initiatives
- Identify training needs in collaboration with managers
MUST TO HAVE:
- 5 years of experience in HR or a related role
- 2 years experience as a senior or manager
- Proficiency in on-boarding process, Malaysian labor law, managing HR operations, payroll
