We are a fast-growing F&B organization committed to delivering high-quality food products and exceptional customer experiences. We uphold strict standards in food safety, hygiene, and Halal compliance across all outlets and production operations. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Senior Halal & QA Executive to lead and support Halal compliance and quality assurance initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure full adherence to Halal requirements for all outlets, central kitchen operations, and suppliers.
- Lead and manage Halal certification applications, renewals, documentation, and communication with JAKIM and relevant authorities.
- Conduct internal Halal audits, regular inspections, and mock audits; work with teams to close all findings through corrective actions.
- Review and verify Halal Critical Control Points (HCCP), ingredients, and supplier Halal certificates.
- Deliver Halal training, briefings, and awareness programs for operational teams.
- Perform routine quality inspections on raw materials, finished products, hygiene practices, and kitchen operations.
- Lead investigations on quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformances, establish root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Central Kitchen, R&D, and Procurement to ensure consistent product quality.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements issued by MOH, KKM, and other authorities.
- Maintain complete and updated Halal files, QA documentation, SOPs, audit reports, and traceability records.
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly Halal & QA reports to management.
- Support new menu items and product development through ingredient verification and risk assessments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Halal Management, Biotechnology, or a relevant field.
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in Halal and QA functions in the F&B industry.
- Strong understanding of JAKIM Halal standards, and food safety management systems.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in auditing and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and guide staff.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong documentation, compliance, and reporting skills.
