Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Governance & Advisory Manager with over 10 years of solid traditional finance experience, preferably from banking, lending, fund management, or card/payment industries. The ideal candidate must possess strong operational in loans, funds, banking products, and others general financial services. Exposure to custody, OTC trading, payment gateway, remittance products is an advantage, as these are part of our group’s business ecosystem.

This role supports cross-border business alignment between the Malaysia office and our group companies (Cloudtech Group AUS). The candidate must possess strong operational capabilities, compliance awareness, and the ability to identify risks and propose corrective measures.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Financial Operations & Business Support
• Manage daily financial operations across lending, investment/fund-related activities, card products, and related financial workflows.
• Provide professional advisory support on traditional finance matters including lending structures, credit assessment, interest calculations, fees, risk considerations, and product features.
• Coordinate closely with Australia Team to support operational alignment and product implementation.
• Support new product features, operational flows, and system enhancements related to financial services.
• Act as a subject matter expert on financial operations and product governance.

• 2. Financial Compliance & Risk Control
• Identify operational and compliance risks and recommend timely corrective actions.
• Support implementation of internal controls, audit findings, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Assist in internal audits, process standardisation, and governance improvements across financial products.
• Support AML/CFT, KYC, and transaction monitoring processes in accordance with regulatory expectations.
• Provide expert insights on mutual funds, structured investments, private financing, and related financial products.

• 3. Cross-Border Coordination
• Support the coordination of product operations (debit card, co-branded cards, wallet and etc) in alignment with the group’s product offering.
• Liaise with service providers, payment partners, or external parties when needed.
• Ensure smooth coordination between internal teams and external partners (banks, fund managers, payment providers).
• Strengthen operational pipelines and ensure timely execution of financial tasks.

• 4. Lending & Fund Operations (KPKT Licensed Company)
• Oversee and monitor operational processes for a KPKT-licensed lending entity.
• Ensure all lending workflows follow KPKT guidelines, internal compliance, and risk frameworks.
• Assist in reviewing loan documentation, fund administration processes, repayment structures, and customer eligibility evaluations.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years in traditional financial services — banking, lending, funds, cards, payments, or related fields.
• Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business, Economics, or other related fields.
• Experience with loan operations, fund processes, and banking products is required.
• Familiarity in custody, OTC, payment gateway, or remittance preferred.
• Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., bank, KPKT lender) strongly preferred.
• Solid financial governance, operations, and compliance knowledge.
• Proven ability to identify risks and implement corrective measures.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to handle confidential financial information.
• Experience in Web3, FinTech, custody, OTC, payment gateway, remittance, or cross-border financial solutions is an advantage.
