Senior Financial Accountant - Marketing Compliance

In this role, you will be responsible for various financial reporting and accounting processes.

THE PERSON:

You are a results-oriented self-starter with excellent communication skills. You possess attention to detail and well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills. You have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and are comfortable with ambiguity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and approve marketing customer claims supported by appropriate and sufficient supporting documents
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements related to marketing expense claims
• Attend to requests from auditors, external and internal stakeholders on a timely basis
• Make critical decisions or judgments based on reasonableness to accommodate business specifications
• Explain or provide justifications on areas of uncertainty during claim review
• Manage operational control processes and ensure that controls are in compliance with prevailing guidelines and standards
• Attend to monthly/quarterly reporting packages on key operational metrics

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Good business partnering skills and effective communication skills in both written and spoken English
• Detail oriented with strong analytical & problem solving skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Strong business acumen on business activities with the strong leadership and an action-oriented mindset
