Job Description

The Job incorporates the process of recording, classifying, and interpreting complex financial data, focusing on the minute details that are intrinsic to reinsurance operations.

Your Key Responsibilities focus on:

• Recording & Processing: Book reinsurance premiums, claims, and related adjustments (commissions, adjustments) in the general ledger.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile reinsurance accounts (payables/receivables) and cash flows with counterparties (cedent companies, brokers).
• Reporting: Assist the Manager in preparing internal reports for the Finance Reporting team such as month/year-end closes.
• Analysis: Assist the Manager and Finance Reporting team to analyze data on trends, validate reports, and discrepancies when necessary.

Job Requirement

• This position is based Labuan Wilayah Persekutuan.
• A degree in Accounting/Finance.
• At least 3 years of working experience in accounting field, preferably from insurance or any financial institution and core function in Technical Accounting.
• Strong Excel skill.
