Job summary

A leading company in sustainability implementation is seeking a Senior Executive in Sustainability & Risk Management to lead the preparation of sustainability reports and manage ESG data. The candidate will coordinate enterprise risk management processes, ensure timely data submissions, and implement various sustainability initiatives. Strong expertise in ESG disclosures and risk management frameworks will be essential. This role aims to enhance sustainability practices and regulatory compliance within the organization.

Job description
Senior Executive Sustainability & Risk Management

To lead and execute the Group’s sustainability reporting, manage ESG data, coordinate enterprise risk management (ERM) processes, and support the implementation of sustainability and risk-related initiatives aligned with regulatory and internal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • 1. Sustainability Reporting & ESG Data Management
    • Lead and prepare the Group’s Sustainability Statement in accordance with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, IFRS/ISSB, and GRI Standards.
    • Ensure all disclosures are accurate, complete, and submitted within deadlines.
    • Maintain an audit-ready ESG documentation repository.
    • Coordinate ESG data collection and achieve 100% timely submission from all departments.
    • Identify reporting gaps, highlight issues, and propose corrective actions.
    • Conduct monthly sustainability awareness communication and contribute to internal sustainability programs.
  • 2. Sustainability Initiatives Implementation
    • Execute at least 80% of the planned annual ESG initiatives.
    • Conduct quarterly meetings with the ESG Committee to monitor progress and drive continuous improvement.
    • Coordinate and manage the Group’s ERM process.
    • Update and maintain group-wide risk registers, ensuring accuracy of ratings, controls, and mitigation plans.
    • Prepare quarterly ERM dashboards and reports for ARMC/BOD meetings.
    • Lead the revamp of the ERM framework by Q4 2026 and implement an annual review cycle.
    • Identify and incorporate sustainability-related risks into the ERM framework.
