The Senior Executive, Sustainability will support the Sustainability Manager in facilitating and coordinating PTPs sustainability initiatives to strengthen PTPs position as a responsible and sustainable corporate organisation. This role supports the execution of PTPs Sustainability Strategy and Roadmap across approved sustainability pillars, including sustainability reporting, dashboard preparation, research and benchmarking, stakeholder coordination, and integration of sustainability considerations into financial and business planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and monitoring of PTPs Sustainability Strategy and Sustainability Roadmap, including end-to-end execution of selected sustainability initiatives and projects.
- Assist in preparing sustainability dashboards, reports, write-ups, and submissions for internal and external reporting requirements, including regulatory and corporate requests.
- Perform triple bottom line calculations by analysing the intersections between economic, social, and environmental performance, including environmental/social ROI metrics and regulatory/risk analysis where required.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on sustainability trends, frameworks, best practices, and maritime industry developments; compile findings into case studies, white papers, presentations, and knowledge materials for internal use (and selected external publications).
- Provide stakeholder support by acting as a key contact point for internal corporate requests and reporting, while coordinating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, Risk, Corporate Affairs, HSSE, HCM).
- Lead and oversee departmental administrative operations and processes, providing guidance to relevant executives and ensuring tasks are completed within agreed timelines.
- Promote sustainability learning and awareness across the organisation and support execution of sustainability-related corporate communications when required (e.g., regulatory requests, social media content).
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or higher (Postgraduate qualification in Sustainability Studies is preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience (e.g., economics, macroeconomics, business administration, environmental studies, or related fields).
- Strong understanding of sustainability reporting frameworks/standards such as GRI, IFRS, and UN Global Compact (preferred).
- Proven project management capability, able to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage timelines with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent presentation, collaboration, coordination, and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organisational levels.
- Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken; resourceful, organised, and able to work with minimum supervision.
