Role Summary and Impact
  • Lead, manage and maintain good business relationships with clients and potential clients, including internal and external clients across GOAT – WPP Media.
  • Assist the Account Lead on the assigned businesses, keeping clients fully informed and enabling strategic input from both clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure the smooth running of day‑to‑day jobs and campaigns – communicating correct information/briefs to all team members, handling client interactions, timeline management, internal team coordination, budget management, community and content management, and reporting.
  • Understand client needs through daily liaison and close collaboration with them.
  • Work closely with Content and Insights & Analytics teams, attending briefings and strategy sessions, to build meaningful and relevant content.
  • Use social tools effectively to generate insightful reports and social audits.
  • Analyze, strategize, ideate and execute social media initiatives.
  • Handle administrative tasks – quotations, registration forms, financial items (ensure quotations are signed & submitted to Finance, follow up on POs and invoices with clients and/or vendors).
Skills and Experience
  • A natural passion for people, as your daily work will involve internal and external stakeholders such as content teams, social listening, agencies, media owners, and clients.
  • Prefer those with at least 1–2 years’ experience in a social media agency or creative agency.
  • A deep knowledge of primary social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X) and emerging technologies and their benefits to brand and businesses.
  • Possess a natural curiosity and penchant for exploring the ins and outs of social media platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Driven, self‑motivated, independent, dependable and passionate.
  • Willing to work beyond normal working hours when required and/or attend to client requests or crisis situations.
  • Excellent proficiency in English & Bahasa Malaysia is required.
