A leading education institution in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Executive in Human Resources. In this role, you will manage recruitment processes, employee relations, and ongoing training programs. Job description
Senior Executive - Human Resources (Location: Sunway Geo)

Manage end-to end recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, conducting reference checks, managing the job offer process and facilitating onboarding process, ensuring timely fulfillment of staffing needs across departments;

Manage employee relations matters, including disputes, concerns, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and facilitating off-boarding and service termination process;

Provide support and guidance in employees' performance review and talent management program;

Administer payroll processes with accuracy, timeliness and in accordance to the statutory bodies' requirement;

Develop, conduct and handle employee development training and learning programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge and development as well as assist in HRDF claims;

Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal guidance, by ensuring all policies and procedures, HR manuals and employee handbook are up to date;

Ensure accurate updating of employee information, attendance records, leave records, overtime, etc. in HR system;

Liaise with insurance agent on employee insurance application, renewal and claims;

Handle all Visa and work permit related issues such as application, renewal, cancellation, appealing and updating personal particulars to relevant governmental agencies;

Conduct company's culture & values program to enhance corporate values implementation;

Contribute to the development and refinement of HR systems and processes;

Support branch managers on procurement and administrative work;

Address and manage any other ad-hoc HR work as assigned

Job Requirements:

Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or equivalent;

Preferably 2-3 years working experience, preferably in Education and Training industry;

Strong knowledge of HR systems, best practices, employment laws and regulation;

Experience in any training related function and internal control/ auditing practice would be desirable;

Familiarity of e-learning platforms and practices would be an added advantage;

Good command of English, both written and verbal;

Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders;

Excellent planning, time management, organizational and multitasking abilities;

Demonstrable leadership abilities and an empathetic person;

Quick learner, detail oriented, committed, proactive and maintain high degree of confidentiality;

A strong sense of responsibility and accountability in all tasks;

Self-motivated,enthusiastic and able to drive change;

Good networking and relationship-building skills;

Capable to work both independently and as part of a team;

Ability to work under stress, strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
