An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Executive of Human Capital to join the team at AFK Gourmet Sdn Bhd in Batu Caves, Selangor. In this contract position, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's human capital initiatives and supporting the overall strategic objectives of the organisation.
The Senior Human Resource Executive (F&B Group) is responsible for overseeing end-to-end recruitment and payroll functions for all F&B business units, including the café kitchen, central kitchen, coffee lounge, café, and stewarding departments. This role ensures timely recruitment of qualified candidates, accurate payroll administration, and adherence to statutory compliance across all outlets under the Group’s F&B operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
Manage full-cycle recruitment — from sourcing, interviewing, and selecting to onboarding — for all F&B departments across multiple outlets.
Collaborate with Outlet Managers, Head Chefs, and Department Heads to understand manpower requirements and ensure optimal staffing levels.
Plan and execute recruitment drives (e.g., walk-in interviews, job fairs, and online postings).
Develop talent pipelines for high-turnover positions such as baristas, kitchen crews, and stewards.
Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and ensure proper onboarding documentation.
2. Payroll & HR Administration
Handle and process monthly payroll for all F&B employees across outlets accurately and on schedule.
Verify attendance, overtime, and allowance data before payroll submission.
Ensure compliance with all statutory contributions and deductions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRDF).
Prepare payroll summary reports for HCD review.
Maintain up-to-date employee data in HR systems and personnel files.
3. HR Operations & Compliance
Coordinate employment confirmation, transfers, contract renewals, and terminations.
Ensure compliance with the Employment Act and company HR policies.
Assist in handling disciplinary cases and employee grievances when required.
Support implementation of HCD initiatives and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Conduct exit interviews and compile turnover analysis reports.
4. HR Coordination & Reporting
Act as the liaison between outlet management teams and HCD for all HR-related matters.
Consolidate manpower and payroll reports from multiple outlets.
Prepare HR dashboards and recruitment status reports for management review.
Support audits, inspections, and compliance reporting related to HR documentation.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in Food & Beverage or Hospitality industry.
Strong working knowledge of Malaysian Employment Law and statutory requirements.
Proficient in HR/payroll software (e.g., SQL Payroll, InfoTech, or similar).
