Role Description

The Executive/Senior Executive – Foreign Worker Management is responsible for overseeing the recruitment, onboarding, administration, and compliance of foreign workers. This role ensures that all foreign worker processes adhere to legal requirements, company policies, and regulatory standards, while supporting the employment lifecycle and welfare of foreign workers. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Johor Bahru

Key Responsibilities
1. Foreign Worker Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Manage the recruitment and selection of foreign workers in compliance with immigration laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate onboarding processes, including orientation and induction programs.
  • Ensure all documentation, visas, and permits are completed accurately and on time.
2. Work Permit & Visa Administration
  • Process work permits, visa applications, renewals, and other necessary documentation for foreign workers.
  • Monitor expiration dates and ensure timely renewals to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all foreign worker documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Akta 446 for foreign worker accommodation license.
3. Compliance & Regulatory Requirements
  • Ensure all foreign worker employment practices comply with local labour laws and immigration regulations and Akta 446 requirements.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to relevant authorities.
  • Monitor health, safety, and welfare standards for foreign workers on site including accommodation standards.
4. Liaison & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as primary contact between the company, foreign workers, and government authorities.
  • Address and resolve work-related concerns or disputes for foreign workers.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with relevant regulatory bodies and agencies.
5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track foreign worker performance and adherence to company policies.
  • Report on foreign worker management, compliance, and operational issues to senior management.
  • Recommend improvements to foreign worker processes for efficiency and compliance.
Qualifications and Skills
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
  • 3–7 years of experience in human resource management, preferably with foreign worker administration.
  • Knowledge of immigration laws, labour laws, and foreign worker regulations.
