A prominent banking institution in Malaysia is seeking a candidate to assist with branch operations and provide efficient customer service. Responsibilities include executing the branch's business plans, managing daily operations like deposits and withdrawals, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Candidates should possess a degree in finance or related fields, and have 1-3 years of banking experiences with good knowledge of banking regulations. Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.
1. To assist and support the Branch in executing business and operations plans and strategies to achieve branch targets (including personal) as well as the Bank’s overall objectives.
2. To provide counter services to customers with prudent, diligent and accurate.
3. To ensure operations of the daily routine work including deposit, withdrawal, remittances, cheque clearing etc are carried out smoothly.
4. To carry out the duties and responsibilities of Chief Cashier and Tellers as per Cash Management Manual (Ref No.: 016/Manual/OMD/2023).
5. Ensure that all the external and internal customers are served well for the required services and to minimize valid customer complaint, reduce customer waiting time etc.
6. To work closely with other departments to achieve the common goals and objectives of the Bank.
7. To comply with all defined policies, procedures and manual of the Bank and regulatory requirements.
8. To cross-sell the Bank’s retail products and services according to customers’ needs as well as to generate revenue for the Bank.
9. To undertake any ad-hoc tasks as and when required by the Head of Department and/or the Senior Management of the Bank.
JOB REQUIREMENTSSPM/Diploma/Bachelor degree in finance, banking, accounting or equivalent from a reputable university.
Minimum 1-3years branch/banking operations experience/exposure. Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
Good knowledge on banking operations and relevant regulatory authority regulations/ guidelines/ requirements such as AMLATFAPUA, FEPRules, etc.
Possess good interpersonal, customer relations and communication skills.
Proficiency in English and preferably Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
Assertive, self-motivated and result oriented.
Able to work with minimum supervision and possess positive attitude.
