Job description

Provide analytical and coordination support to the Business Development team in evaluating property development opportunities identified by the Company. The role supports preliminary assessment activities for potential land acquisitions, disposals, and Joint Venture (JV) partnerships through structured research, financial analysis, and documentation, contributing to informed decision-making during the early stages of land bank expansion and asset rationalisation.

Key Accountabilities
  • Support the evaluation of land acquisition, joint venture, redevelopment, and asset rationalisation opportunities sourced by the related division by conducting preliminary desktop research and compiling relevant data inputs.
  • Perform preliminary financial calculations and assist in preparing basic financial models to support the assessment of investment or divestment opportunities.
  • Compile and organise key data inputs (e.g. Local Authority guidelines, basic market demand data) for the preparation of project briefs and initial feasibility studies.
  • Assist in preparing initial proposal and presentation materials for management review, consolidating inputs with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate information flow and meetings between Business Development, Design & Planning, Finance, and other internal departments as required.
  • Support liaison activities with external consultants, authorities, and stakeholders by preparing correspondence, schedules, and meeting documentation as directed.
  • Maintain project trackers and progress reports for opportunities under evaluation within the Business Development pipeline.
  • Gather, organise, and maintain documentation required for due diligence processes related to land acquisitions, disposals, and development partnerships.
