Senior Executive/Asst Mgr/Manager- IT Infrastructure (Cybersecurity)

Job Summary
We’re on the lookout for a cyber guardian who’s passionate about securing complex IT ecosystems! You’ll take the lead in managing and safeguarding Daikin Malaysia Group’s IT infrastructure — from networks and servers to endpoints — ensuring a resilient, high-performing, and secure environment across Malaysia and our regional subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain a secure IT architecture — network segmentation, patching, upgrades, and optimizing performance across firewalls, switches, and systems.
• Administer and monitor security tools such as EDR, Tanium, Zscaler, Tenable, WAF, and VPN.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, firewall audits, and drive timely remediation across infrastructure layers.
• Oversee subsidiary network security and mitigate risks from prior breaches or vulnerabilities.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve cyber resilience frameworks, policies, and incident response processes.
• Strengthen information security and cyber risk management controls across all group entities.
• Plan and execute IT security strategies aligned with business goals — including insights from cyber drills and red team exercises.
• Enforce software compliance and ensure alignment with Daikin Global IT policies.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and compliance reports.
• Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Application, and Compliance teams to build secure-by-design architecture.
• Champion cybersecurity awareness programs — inspire a proactive culture of security.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure and/or cybersecurity roles.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Professional certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP are a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
