Job summary

A financial services provider in Shah Alam, Malaysia is looking for an experienced accountant to prepare full sets of accounts, manage financial reporting, and process payroll. The ideal candidate should have an Advanced or Higher Diploma in Accounting, at least 3 years of experience, and the ability to work independently. Knowledge of SQL Financial Accounting and Payroll software is a plus. This role demands attention to detail and strong compliance understanding with statutory regulations. Transportation is required.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, cash flow statements, and assist in budgeting & forecasting.
  • Handle treasury function and cash flow management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax filings, custom regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Handle monthly payroll processing and recruitment process.
  • Maintain employee records, attendance, and HR-related documentations.
  • Responsible for any other ad-hoc reports and functions as and when assigned by management.
  • Handle day-to-day accounting and HR operations and activities.
  • Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities.
Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess minimum Advanced/Higher Diploma in Accounting, LCCI Higher or Professional qualification.
  • At least 3 year(s) of related working experiences.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Resourceful and pleasant personality.
  • Knowledge of SQL Financial Accounting & SQL Payroll software is an advantage.
  • Possess own transportation.
