Job description
  1. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on a wide range of ER and IR issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  2. Managing disciplinary issues by investigating the alleged misconduct, preparing necessary documentation, and recommending the appropriate action to close the case.
  3. Supporting the development, interpretation, and application of company policies, and procedures, labour relations, contract administration, grievance handling, employee counselling, and discipline matter.
  4. Develop and deliver training programs for managers and employees on ER/IR policies, procedures, and legal obligations, fostering a culture of compliance and accountability.
  5. Represent the company in discussions with regulatory agencies, arbitrators, mediators or auditors, advocating for the organization's interests while upholding legal and ethical standards.
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to ER/IR activities, ensuring the confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
  7. Stay abreast of relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry trends, advising management on compliance requirements and best practices.
  8. Develop and implement employee relations strategies and programmes to create a harmonious work environment, promote positive work culture and enhance employee engagement survey or action items.
Job Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Advance Diploma with 5 years related experience or bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent field.
  • Preferably candidates with working experience in focusing on employee relations, labor relations, or industrial relations.
  • Well versed in employment laws, regulations, and best practices, with the ability to interpret and apply policies consistently and fairly.
  • Possess strong communication skills and detail oriented.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Good in data analyst & Microsoft excel.
  • Experience in company audit (internal & external), especially in Responsible Business Alliance (RBA).
