Responsibilities
- Undertake tasks related to safety and airworthiness requirements as assigned by the Team Leader, Regulatory Compliance, and provide regular status updates and reports accordingly.
- Perform surveillance on SAE engineering and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with requirements, procedures and standards so that quality of the product is maintained in an airworthiness state. Raise Surveillance/Audits reports and issue Non-Compliance Report (NCR) to Area Owners for corrective and remedial actions to be accomplished within the agreed time frame.
- Perform audits, including the verification of corrective and preventive actions taken by responsible managers on recent quality audit reports and open NCRs, and prepare and submit status reports on assigned tasks.
- Liaise with national aviation authorities and customer quality representatives on matters related to compliance with airworthiness requirements.
- Address customer quality concerns and ensure regulatory compliance expectations are met.
- Assist in maintaining the Company’s Approval, Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE) and other associated procedures in alignment with regulatory updates. Ensure proper documentation control and submission processes are followed.
- Conduct oral assessment as a Quality Testing Officer (QTO) to assess qualified personnel for issuance of company authorization /approval. Report to Team Leader, Regulatory Compliance on issues related to qualifying of personnel. Recommend competent candidates for the issue or renewal of personnel Company Authorization / Approval.
- To evaluate and recommend to HOQ dispositions on request for deviation from approved procedures.
- Prepare the Quality Department Quality Notices.
- Carry out Assessment of Suppliers / Repair Facilities / Sub-Contractors for SAE and provide recommendation.
- Assist in analyzing non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Support the Technical Investigation whenever required and monitor the PPS process to identify root causes of non-conformance.
- Conduct capability assessments and process validations.
- Work collaboratively with other domains and provide technical support to enhance regulatory compliance.
- Assess compliance trends and recommend effective solutions. Identify opportunities for improvement of the Quality, Safety and compliance processes.
- Adhering to health and safety practices in workplace.
- Upkeep and live Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct to be exemplary to others and to promote and increase the awareness of Airbus Values, Leadership Models and Code of Conduct.
- Carry out any other task as directed by the superior.
