Job Overview
Collaborate with product management, project teams, and developers to align testing strategies with product goals and technical requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive test scenarios for complex, web-based supply chain systems.
- Create detailed, traceable test cases from both functional and technical specifications.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation scripts using established automation frameworks and tools.
- Execute scheduled automated regression tests and validate results for accuracy and completeness.
- Analyse automation test results and investigate performance or stability issues.
- Troubleshoot software defects and work closely with development teams to identify root causes and ensure timely resolution.
- Track, document, and manage issues using tools like JIRA or similar bug-tracking systems.
- Engage actively throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure quality is embedded from start to finish.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives in QA processes, tools, and overall product quality.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to the team’s technical growth.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience in both manual and automated testing within enterprise software environments.
- Deep understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, JMeter, or equivalent open-source frameworks.
- Strong experience in executing white box, gray box, and black box testing techniques.
- Hands‑on knowledge of SQL for test data validation and scripting experience for test automation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in sprint‑based delivery cycles.
- Exposure to logistics or supply chain management systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
- Strong communication and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Self‑driven, adaptable, and proactive in owning tasks and driving quality across teams.
- Flexibility and independence in task ownership.
- Strong self‑motivation and initiative in a fast‑paced environment.
Work Arrangement / Additional Information
This is primarily a work‑from‑home position. The role supports projects in Singapore and may occasionally require travel to Singapore at short notice. Candidates should be comfortable with these arrangements before apply.
