Job summary

A global technology company in Malaysia is seeking an EHS Executive to implement environmental, health, and safety policies and ensure compliance with local regulations. Responsibilities include leading safety committees, conducting audits, and training staff on safety procedures. A degree in a relevant field is required, along with experience in electronics manufacturing. The position requires strong knowledge of Malaysian safety laws and excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English. This is a full-time onsite role.

Qualifications

  • Registered Green Book holder from Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH) Malaysia preferred.
  • 0 to 2 years’ experience in EHS field for EHS Executive, 3 years for Senior Executive.
  • Well-versed with Malaysian legislation related to safety, health, and environmental.

Responsibilities

  • Implement EHS policies to meet local legal requirements.
  • Coordinate with governmental departments for compliance.
  • Lead internal Safety & Health Committee meetings.
  • Conduct safety and health audits and maintain records.
  • Ensure validity of Competent Person certifications.
  • Maintain emergency response measures and training.
  • Conduct chemical health risk assessments.
