Job summary

A global leader in taste and nutrition is seeking an EHS Specialist in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, to ensure compliance with EHS regulations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field, and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG industries. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, reporting to management about EHS activities, and developing training programs. This role offers the chance to contribute to a safe and sustainable workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in an EHS role, preferably in manufacturing, food & beverage, chemical, or FMCG industry.
• Good knowledge of Malaysia EHS legislation such as OSHA 1994 and Environmental Quality Act 1974.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health.
• Develop and ensure all EHS policies are adhered to and regularly reviewed.
• Complete and regularly review risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
• Provide regular reports to the Management Team on relevant EHS activities.

Registered with DOSH Malaysia (e.g. SHO – Green Book)

Professional Certifications (e.g. Certified Environmental Professional)
