A retail company in Malaysia is looking for a Senior E-Commerce Operation Executive (Team Lead) to oversee e-commerce operations across platforms like Shopee and Lazada. You'll lead the operations team in fulfilling orders, manage stock forecasting, and ensure accurate reporting. The Senior E-Commerce Operation & Logistic Executive (Team Lead) is responsible for overseeing and leading the e-commerce operations team to ensure smooth end-to-end fulfilment across all platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, and brand.com). This role covers daily operational management, stock forecasting and planning, return management, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to maintain operational efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the e-commerce operations team in daily order fulfilment, returns, and logistics coordination.
Plan and assign tasks to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of operational deliverables.
Monitor team performance and provide guidance, training, and support to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Act as the main liaison between the operations team, marketing, finance, and warehouse departments.
Oversee order syncing, processing, and fulfilment across all e-commerce platforms.
Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of orders in coordination with warehouse and 3PL partners.
Manage and monitor return parcels, ensuring proper QC, repacking, and stock updates.
Work closely with 3PLs on delivery issues, return handling, and service performance.
Stock Management, Forecasting & Planning
Monitor stock levels and ensure sufficient replenishment for campaigns and daily operations.
Prepare stock forecasts based on sales trends, upcoming campaigns, and product performance.
Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to plan inbound schedules and avoid overstock or stockout situations.
Ensure accurate stock reconciliation and reporting between system and warehouse inventory.
Reporting & Documentation
Review and validate Delivery Orders, Invoices, and GRNs for operational accuracy.
Prepare regular performance reports, including order summaries, fulfilment efficiency, and stock status.
Support management with data insights for decision-making and process improvements.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce operations, fulfilment, or logistics coordination.
Strong understanding of Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Seller Center operational flows.
Experienced in coordinating with 3PLs, warehouse teams, and cross-department functions.
Strong analytical skills for stock management and forecasting.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets for reporting and data tracking.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure during campaign seasons.
