Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Independently handle complex orthodontic cases including severe crowding, Class II/III malocclusion, open bite, deep bite, crossbite, and missing teeth.
  • Evaluate doctor prescriptions and develop optimal movement strategies and treatment paths.
  • Provide professional judgment on special biomechanics scenarios such as anchorage management, distalization, expansion, and contraction strategies.
  • Design high-quality 3D treatment plans including final setup, staging, IPR planning, occlusal adjustments, and arch form control.
  • Plan attachments and elastics based on clinical needs and doctor preferences to optimize movement efficiency and predictability.
  • Support QC team and junior designers by reviewing complex cases and providing technical guidance.
  • Communicate with doctors on special or disputed cases, explaining design logic and strategies.
  • Participate in internal training and process improvement projects to enhance overall design standards.
  • Analyze case return rates and quality issues, propose improvement solutions, and contribute to knowledge base documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in dentistry or orthodontics.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in orthodontic treatment planning or related field.
  • Strong understanding of biomechanics and orthodontic protocols.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex cases under pressure in an organized manner.
