Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth credit evaluation using the 5C’s framework.
• Conduct credit verification on data entry and submitted documents.
• Execute credit decisions for loan applications as per the DLA matrix.
• Comply with Group Policy, Statutory Guidelines, and Bank standards.
• Guide branches/sales on loan applications and referencing guidelines.
• Detect fraud and promote awareness.
• Provide feedback for process improvement.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To perform in depth credit evaluation using common framework of 5C’s (capacity, capital, collateral, conditions and character) in assessing credit risk, customer creditworthiness for prudent credit decision.
• To perform credit verification on the accuracy of data entry and income/supporting documents submitted comply with requirement
• To execute credit decision for loan/financing application of retail secured product as per assigned DLA matrix within stipulated TAT/SLA.
• To comply with Group Policy and Guidelines, Statutory Guidelines and Bank’s standard procedure and practices
• To guide and assist the branches/sales on their loan application and reference of guidelines
• Fraud detection and awareness
• Contribute feedback on process improvement to improve credit quality, efficiency and service standards
• Perform other duties and assignments as and when required by TL, Credit Evaluation, Head, Retail Credit and GCB Chief Credit Officer
