At CARSOME, the Business Analyst, Pricing Strategy & Governance is to assess how pricing strategy & governance is performing, helping to improve the processes and systems, and strategise pricing direction to achieve Company’s goals.
By conducting research, study and analysis in order to come up with solutions to business challenges and help to introduce the solutions to businesses and stakeholders.
You need to execute the aligned actionable strategies to improve conversion, grow priority categories, and protect margins; deliver pricing excellence at scale, supporting CARSOME’s mission to revolutionize the way Southeast Asia buys and sells cars.

Conduct deep dives into loss‑making transactions, C2B2C purchase challenges, and B2C returns to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
Analyze conversion trends and pricing efficiency to recommend corrective actions.
Develop, maintain, monitor and report on margin performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.
Propose pricing decisions frameworks and due diligence requirements.
Support governance controls to maintain consistency, transparency, and reasonableness of offers.
Maintain daily pricing dashboards, monitor compliance across teams, escalating exceptions where necessary.
Execute pricing strategies to improve conversions and profitability across targeted categories.
Partner with cross‑functional teams (Projects, Product, Sales) to streamline processes, tools, and pricing execution.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Management or any related field.
At least 1 to 2 years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably in a related industry.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with people at all levels of an organization.
High problem‑solving, analytical skills and able to think creatively and work collaboratively with teams to solve business challenges.
Detail‑oriented, organised, and confident working with complex data and systems.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise given tasks, and good time management skill to cope with requests/queries across different business units.
Proactive, self‑starter, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
