Senior Broking Support, Reinsurance (Facultative)

We're hiring! We are looking for a Senior Broking Support to join our Reinsurance team in KL, Malaysia. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from the office.

What the day will look like
  • Assisting brokers with all types of reinsurance placement services such as attending to queries, providing relevant advice, and gather market updates to team members.
  • Responsible for renewal placement independently on accounts allocated by senior brokers.
  • Managing the data management of the department by updating reinsurance placement activity on broker systems by processing data accurately and promptly.
  • Preparing and checking contracts / slips / endorsements / invoices and all relevant documents as per timeline and standard operating procedures.
  • Work with internal departments to ensure prompt billing and timely issuance of documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to manage claims, premium and credit control matters
  • Ensure compliance according to local regulations, standard operating procedures and corporate governance.
  • Engage communication and collaboration with clients and reinsurers by building good relationship and network.
  • Work on operational projects to improve and maintain service standards.
  • Assist team and company’s marketing activities as and when required.
  • Assist to monitor department’s revenue and prepare reports as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues throughout the Asia Pacific and Global Facultative network to achieve overall objectives in terms of standardisation of operations workflow and growth.

Education & Qualifications/ Expected Experiences

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent
  • Professional qualification in insurance is an added advantage
