Job summary

A modern neighborhood grocer is seeking a Senior Food & Beverage Team Member to ensure smooth operations in the store's Front of House. Ideal candidates should have SPM, experience as a barista is preferred, and must possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Flexible shift availability is required.

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess at least SPM.
• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable working in a busy, sometimes noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and other beverages.
• Input orders into the POS system accurately.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Keep the FOH and shared kitchen area clean and organized.
• Promote café specials and upsell additional items.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards.
• Work collaboratively with other staff to maintain positive service.
