The team is hiring a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer (MY) to design, implement, and optimise Microsoft Azure solutions across complex environments. Responsibilities
  • Resolve incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
  • Identify and analyze trends or problems within customer environments.
  • Design and implement permanent fixes through appropriate change processes.
  • Document solutions and share knowledge within the internal knowledge base.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, serving as a senior escalation point.
  • Lead client onboarding to ensure smooth transitions and SOW compliance.
  • Facilitate client workshops to uncover improvement opportunities.
  • Drive the development of innovative solutions to enhance customer environments.
  • Collaborate with Tech Leads to evaluate current offerings and shape future enhancements.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support business and client needs.
Requirements
  • Expertise in Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Strong hands-on experience with IaaS (Compute, Network, Storage) and PaaS.
  • Proven background in Cloud Migrations and Transformations.
  • Experience implementing Cloud Landing Zones and applying the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
  • Solid knowledge of Cloud Governance, Security, and Compliance best practices.
  • Understanding of SecOps (e.g., Defender for Cloud) and CostOps principles.
  • Ability to enforce strong architectural standards.
  • Act as a key escalation point, offering guidance and oversight to the team.
  • Proven experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) on Azure across all environments (dev to prod).
  • Linux administration and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory and DNS.
  • Experience working with automation, scripting, and DevOps pipelines.
