Job Details

Position: Senior Architect

Status: 6 months’ probation Under PERSOLKELLY and will be absorbed under company upon successful probation.

Location: Senai, Johor

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: 9am - 6pm (1 hour lunch break)

Salary: up to RM10k

Requirements
  • Registered board of architect Part III is a bonus.
  • Minimum 5 years working experiences in related field.
  • Must possess a strong leadership quality in leading drafter, 3D visualizer & Junior colleagues on the working direction.
Responsibilities
  • Work with & report directly to the Senior Architect / Project Director on all matters pertaining to the assigned projects and issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and working direction to the Junior design team members.
  • Participate in project meetings; meet with clients and determine their needs and requirements and align with company design vision & mission.
  • Develop and present project, schedule/design proposals.
  • Review and check design, technical/tender/construction drawings to ensure alignment with client requirements.
  • Ensure all drawings delivered to clients are neat and comply with company drawings standard.
  • Manage projects from concept development through completion (CCC Stage).
  • Lead coordination of all disciplines, associates and other specialists to produce a comprehensive, coordinated design, tender & construction document set that meets client, local building code and applicable law requirements.
  • Adjust design and plan sketches by senior/project architect to meet client needs and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare a full set of comprehensive design drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Determine and adhere to the timelines given by client, senior/project director.
  • Manage project teams and collaborate with other construction professionals.
  • Conduct tenders and administer building contracts.
  • Respond to builder and client queries during, before and after construction.
  • Attend regular meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and specialists and conduct regular site visits to check progress, record & prepare meeting minutes & agenda.
  • Respond promptly to the client, senior/project architect during working hours via WhatsApp, email or other social apps.
