Job summary

A fintech startup is looking for a Senior Mobile Developer (Android) to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. You will build scalable mobile apps used by merchants across Southeast Asia and work closely with product, design, and customer teams. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in native Android development using Kotlin and Java, as well as experience with mobile architecture patterns and performance tuning. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in native Android development (Kotlin and/or Java).
• Strong grasp of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, etc.).
• Experience with Jetpack libraries, Retrofit, and asynchronous programming.
• Solid foundation in performance tuning and debugging complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain native Android apps used by merchants across SEA.
• Work closely with Product, Design, and Customer teams to rapidly prototype and release new features.
• Write clean, testable, efficient Kotlin/Java code.
• Solve performance issues, debug tricky bugs, and ensure app stability.
• Stay ahead with modern Android tools (Jetpack, Coroutines, Retrofit, etc.).
• Innovate in areas like payment terminals, POS integrations, and hardware peripherals.
