Overview

We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager, Accounts to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced retail environment. In this role, you will manage the full spectrum of accounting functions and play a crucial part in supporting strategic financial decision-making. If you’re someone who thrives on structure, accuracy, and balancing the books—this role is for you.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain full set of accounts, including journal entries and general ledger updates.
  • Reconcile daily sales, bank statements, credit card, and QR transactions.
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure daily liquidity for operations.
  • Verify supplier invoices, prepare payment vouchers, and match with payments.
  • Perform month-end closing and generate financial statements.
  • Prepare monthly management reports and expense forecasts.
  • Track and reconcile accounts receivable/payable, petty cash, and outlet sales.
  • Manage bank interactions, fund placements, and repo forecasting.
  • Support tax estimations and financial analysis for business decisions.
  • Consolidate accounts for holding company.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a trading environment.
  • Strong knowledge of full set accounts and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
