Job summary

A financial services company in Petaling Jaya is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage a full set of monthly accounts, maintain treasury activities, assist in tax filing, and support audit processes. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Finance or Accountancy, at least 4 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in English, Chinese, and Bahasa Malaysia. Computer literacy, especially in Excel and accounting software, is essential.

Job description

Managing a full set of monthly management reports timely.

Maintaining treasury activities including preparing and monitoring the payments and receipts of the companies.

Maintaining intercompany accounts.

Perform reconciliations for intercompany balances, banking transactions and others.

Assisting in Tax filing, e-invoicing and compliances.

Assisting in audit and tax related matters and meeting statutory submission deadlines.

Handle full set of company accounts.

Ensure supporting documents are in order and duly authorized when processing all payments.

Perform monthly closing of accounts timely including daily routine on processing payments and issuing receipts/journal vouchers, invoicing, DN/CN.

Preparing cash flow statements and monitoring bank balances.

Liaise with bank officers on daily bank transactions and assist in updating the weekly bank report.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or a Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent. Candidates who are pursuing Professional Accountancy courses are also encouraged to apply.

At least 4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Good command of English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia.

Computer literate (Microsoft Office Software) with good knowledge in Excel and knowledge in accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamic Business Central would be an advantage.

Possess good interpersonal skill, self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently under pressure.
