Manager – Accounts & Finance / Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Managing finance and accounting functions of the company, including accounts closing, cash flow, audit and taxation.
• Ensuring AP and AR are processed timely and accurately.
• Perform financial analysis and reporting to the management. Highlight cost irregularities or variances and recommend improvement activities.
• Evaluate workflow processes/procedures and recommend changes for the improvement of accuracy and efficiency of accounting functions.
• To involve in product costing/pricing and liaise with customers on commercial issues.
• Carry out ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management from time to time.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess a professional qualification (eg: ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or a Bachelor's Degree in accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of full-set experience, preferably with at least 2 years of managerial experience.
• Familiar with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Experience in product costing is an added advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
