Senior Account Manager - Business Development

Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all account‑related matters.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive growth, retention, and satisfaction among assigned clients.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients’ business objectives and challenges, and propose tailored solutions.
- Identify opportunities to cross‑sell or upsell additional products or services to existing clients, maximizing revenue potential.
- Proactively address any client issues or concerns, ensuring prompt resolution and escalation to appropriate stakeholders when necessary.
- Lead contract negotiation processes, ensuring favourable terms for both the client and the company, and manage contract renewals in a timely manner.
- Monitor account performance metrics, track progress against goals, and provide regular reports and updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience in account management or a related field, with a proven track record of success in managing large, complex client accounts.
- Strong understanding of the industry landscape, market trends, and client needs within the assigned sector or vertical.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans that align with both client objectives and company goals, driving mutual success.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to navigate complex contract negotiations and drive win‑win outcomes for all parties involved.
