A local accounting firm in Semenyih is seeking an individual with strong accounting skills to assist in the preparation of management accounts and perform daily data entry. You will handle invoice processing, reconcile bank statements, and support month-end closing activities. Strong compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards is essential. The role also involves liaising with internal and external auditors and performing various administrative tasks. Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and effective communication skills.
Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
Perform daily accounting data entry, including accounts payable and receivable.
Handle invoice processing and follow up on outstanding payments.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger records.
Prepare and update accounting schedules and reports.
Support month‑end closing activities, audits and tax filing.
Ensure all financial records comply with company policies and accounting standards (Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards [MFRS]).
Liaise effectively with external auditors, internal auditors, the company secretary, and regulatory authorities.
Perform other ad‑hoc accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
