Our client is a large, globally established manufacturing group specialising in the design, production, and distribution of power tools, outdoor equipment, and related products.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries, accrs, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate general ledger and supporting schedules.
• Monitor and analyse manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labour, and overheads.
• Support product costing, margin analysis, and variance analysis.
• Work closely with operations and production teams to improve cost efficiency and controls.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Track budget versus actual performance and explain variances to management.
• Support cash flow planning and working capital management.
• Prepare and coordinate tax computations, submissions, and payments (corporate tax, SST/GST where applicable).
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulators.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal control requirements.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent) is preferred.
• Minimum 4-6 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Hands‑on experience in costing, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Strong technical accounting and financial analysis skills.
• Good understanding of manufacturing cost structures and inventory accounting.
• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
