A leading company in the F&B sector is seeking an experienced accountant to manage full sets of accounts, prepare financial statements, and supervise junior staff. Candidates should hold a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance with 3–5 years of experience in the F&B industry. Proficiency in Autocount accounting software and strong analytical and communication skills are essential. The position offers a 5-day work week with standard working hours.
Handle full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation).
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and variance analysis.
Monitor cash flow, daily sales reconciliation, and outlet cash handling procedures.
Oversee monthly stock count process and verify inventory reports.
Review supplier invoices, credit notes, and payment vouchers.
Manage payroll data preparation and ensure statutory compliance (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, suppliers, and government agencies.
Implement and maintain internal controls for F&B operations.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Supervise and guide junior accounts staff.
Assist management in ad-hoc financial tasks when required.
Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in F&B industry.
Strong knowledge of full sets of accounts and accounting standards.
Proficient in Autocount accounting software.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Able to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
High integrity and strong sense of responsibility.
5 day work week
Working hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm
