Micron Technology seeks a Security Specialist 1 to manage physical security systems and programs in Malaysia, supporting innovative memory and storage solutions.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing physical security design and installation of security features and systems including Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Camera Surveillance, Passive and Active Barriers.
  • Ensuring security features comply with Micron Global Security organization standards.
  • Managing security programs for new projects, building expansions, and special security initiatives throughout Malaysia.
  • Traveling as needed for fact-finding, project milestones, and hand-off of completed projects to local security operations teams.
About You

The company is looking for:

  • Degree in Security Management, Criminology, or related field (preferred).
  • Open to fresh graduates or candidates with less than 2 years of experience in security operations, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of Malaysian security laws, emergency response procedures, and safety standards.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Physically fit and able to work shifts if required.
