Job summary

A leading construction company in Malaysia is looking for a Security Officer to manage site security in Elmina, Selangor. The ideal candidate should have experience in construction security, knowledge of setting up security systems, and be physically capable of performing site duties. Responsibilities include monitoring CCTV, controlling access points, and supervising security staff to prevent theft or vandalism. Candidates with a military or police background are preferred.

Overview

CONSTRUCTION DIVISION

LOCATION : ELMINA, SELANGOR

Manage and control security at construction site

Set up security system including worker registration visitor record and vehicle entry and exit control

Monitor CCTV security surveillance and site access points

Ensure only authorised personnel and vehicles enter the site

Conduct regular site patrols to prevent theft vandalism and safety issues

Coordinate with site management and subcontractors on security matters

Handle security incidents and prepare simple reports when required

Supervise security guards and ensure duties are carried out properly

Qualifications

Experience as a Security Officer, preferably in a construction environment

Background in security, police, or military is an added advantage

Former police or armed forces personnel are highly preferred

Knowledge of setting up and managing site security systems, including registration and vehicle control

Experience handling construction site security operations

Able to work independently and follow instructions effectively

Physically capable to perform site duties, disciplined, and responsible

Willing to work at a construction site in Elmina, Shah Alam
