Job description
Purpose Statement

Develop and implement an effective global security strategy and program to mitigate risk, safeguard the organization’s human assets, intellectual property, integrity, reputation and physical assets to ensure continuity of operations. Responsible for the day to day management of all Physical Security software/applications, working in close collaboration with both the IS and local site security teams and is responsible for implementation and daily operational support of all security applications. Manage and coordinate security efforts with functions across the company, standardizing the security process, as appropriate, and educating all BSC personnel on the benefits of good security and its value to the success of the corporation.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage and maintain the Global Security Access Control System, as well as other aspects of the security system to include SQL databases, custom scripts and data flows, maintenance of servers and Installation of client software using remote access technologies while remaining compliant with IS requirements.
  • Work with Global and local teams on overall security system strategies.
  • Perform security related assessments, technical and physical, of BSC’s sites globally.
  • Project management of various security related projects and upgrades.
  • Development, implementation of a custom incident report system and investigations database using applicable software.
  • Function as a liaison between BSC and security system and application vendors.
  • Interface with monitoring staff on all Command Center policies, process and issues.
  • Coordinate and advise managers, vendors, and staff who safeguard corporate assets and the physical safety of employees and visitors, leveraging relationships to build sustainable competitive advantages through security solutions.
  • Conduct regular analysis and make recommendations on all security program efficiencies.
  • Have current knowledge/familiarity with emerging security technologies and practices.
  • Remain current with security system training requirements/courses.
  • Train/present to end-users on system use.
  • Testing of new hardware, applications, service packs prior to deployment to production environment.
  • Serve as a back-up to the Global Security Project Manager.
  • Conduct security awareness training throughout the corporation.
  • Conduct corporate investigations, as appropriate.
  • Develop written implement and monitor compliance of a global security policy including standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security, including, but not limited to asset protection, workplace violence prevention, and acces
  • Develop a relevant executive protection program with a focus on conference security and international travel support.
  • Develop a business continuity plan designed from the local level through the executive level.
  • Conduct trend analysis for prevention and loss as well as threats internal and external to the company.
  • Develop corporate policies and procedures which educate and support BSC employees as it pertains to security issues.
Job Requirements
  • Candidate is required to possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Security, Risk Management, Business Continuity, Resilience, or equivalent
  • At least 10-15 years of working experience in facility security.
  • Skill required: Site Security Management, Crisis Management, Investigations, People Management, Business Continuity, Supply Chain Security, etc.
  • Candidtae with Certified Protection Professionla (CPP) and Physical Security Professional (PSP) will be added value.
  • Facility experience essential is required.
