◆ Job Description & Working Conditions
- This is a part-time position.
- The hourly rate is RM 25.
- Contract Period: March 3, 2026 – January 13, 2027
※ Music and Art positions are offered on a semester basis only:
- Art: March 3, 2026 – July 17, 2026
- Music: 24 August 24, 2026 – January 13, 2027
- Malay Language Secondary/Primary (Secondary: 6 hrs / Primary: 12 hrs)
- Music: Secondary 6 hours (2nd Semester)
- Art: Secondary 6 hours (1nd Semester)
- Physical Education Secondary 9 hours

◆ Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements
- General Requirements:
- Must possess a relevant degree, teaching qualification, or equivalent in the subject field.
- Must be a Malaysian National or hold a valid Work Permit. The school will not provide visa sponsorship.
- Applicants must be able to conduct lessons in English, including lesson planning, classroom instruction, and student assessment.
- Subject-Specific Requirements:
- Music/Arts/Physical Education (PE): Relevant degree and ability to provide practical/skills-based instruction.
- Malay Language: Native speakers or those who majored in the respective language.
- Preferential Conditions:
- Holders of a Secondary Education major or Teaching License.
- Experience teaching in regular educational institutions or teaching Korean students.
- Proficiency in the Korean language.
◆ Key Responsibilities (by Subject)
Malay Language Instructor (Primary & Secondary)
- Plan and conduct Malay language lessons for primary and secondary levels.
- Deliver level-appropriate communication-focused language instruction.
- Support students’ understanding of Malaysian language and culture.
- Conduct performance-based assessments, maintain accurate student records, and prepare student evaluations and written reports each semester.
- Assist with multicultural day and school-wide educational activities.
Music Instructor (Secondary – Semester-based)
- Plan and conduct secondary music lessons according to the semester schedule.
- Teach singing, instrumental performance, and music appreciation activities.
- Foster students’ musical expression and collaborative skills.
- Conduct performance-based assessments, maintain accurate student records, and prepare student evaluations and written reports each semester.
- Support school events, performances, and music-related activities.
Art Instructor (Secondary – Semester-based)
- Plan and conduct secondary art lessons according to the semester schedule.
- Guide students in various artistic techniques and creative expression.
- Promote students’ creativity and aesthetic sensitivity.
- Conduct performance-based assessments, maintain accurate student records, and prepare student evaluations and written reports each semester.
- Assist with school exhibitions and art-related school events.
Physical Education Instructor (Secondary)
- Plan and conduct secondary physical education lessons.
- Improve students’ physical fitness and motor skills through structured activities.
- Ensure student safety and prevent accidents during physical activities.
- Conduct performance-based assessments, maintain accurate student records, and prepare student evaluations and written reports each semester.
- Support school sports events and related activities.
◆ Other Expectations
- Participate in after-school programs when required by the school. The after-school program is conducted during working hours and is an additional paid service.
- Support the transition of pupils between phases.
- Contribute to the development of activities to encourage family involvement in the school.
- Ensure that school policies including those related to Safeguarding, Race Equality, Equal Opportunities, Code of Conduct, and Health & Safety are adhered to.
◆ Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Must possess a degree or teaching qualification or its equivalent.
- Experience in teaching Korean learners is preferred.
- Evidence of continued relevant professional development experience desirable.
- Ability to demonstrate using technology in learning.
- Excellent command of oral and written English.
- Highly motivated, takes initiatives, energetic, disciplined and responsible.
- Passionate about teaching and learning with a genuine desire to work with peers and students.
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively with groups and develop a sense of community and generate trust.
