Overview

Job Summary: We are undergoing a major transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, and we are looking for a Senior SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP Reporting & Analytics Senior Consultant to Senior Consultant and drive the implementation of advanced reporting and analytics solutions across SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This Technical Consultant role will focus on implementing and optimizing SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere, and embedded analytics within SAP S/4HANA to empower decision-making and provide business insights.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reporting and analytics tools within the SAP ecosystem, including hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Datasphere. The consultant will be responsible for data integration for reporting, ensuring the delivery of real-time insights, and optimizing analytics processes across the business.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. SAP Reporting & Analytics Architecture
   • Design and implement end-to-end SAP reporting and analytics solutions, focusing on SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP Datasphere.
   • Architect reporting and analytics solutions that deliver real-time insights, integrating data from SAP S/4HANA and other business systems.
   • Define and manage the overall data flow and data modelling strategies for business intelligence, ensuring high data accuracy and availability for reporting and analysis.
   • Design and implement data structures within SAP S/4HANA and SAP Datasphere to support reporting, dashboards, and analytics needs.
2. SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
   • Lead the implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting, planning, and predictive analytics.
   • Design and deploy SAC dashboards and reports, providing real-time, actionable insights to key business stakeholders.
   • Integrate SAP S/4HANA, third-party applications, and cloud data sources with SAC to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of reporting data.
   • Utilize SAC features such as data visualizations, storytelling, and planning capabilities to support business decision-making.
   • Ensure proper user access, security protocols, and governance for SAC-based reports and dashboards.
3. SAP Datasphere Integration
   • Lead the integration of SAP Datasphere with SAP S/4HANA, ensuring a unified approach for data storage, modelling, and access.
   • Implement and manage SAP Datasphere for data warehousing, ensuring that business data is effectively extracted, transformed, and made accessible for analytics purposes.
   • Develop and implement strategies for data harmonization and integration across SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP Datasphere.
   • Ensure seamless integration of SAP S/4HANA data with SAP Datasphere and other cloud platforms, enabling centralized data management for reporting and analytics.
4. Embedded Analytics in SAP S/4HANA
   • Leverage SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics capabilities to deliver real-time insights embedded directly into business processes.
   • Configure and implement CDS views (Core Data Services) and analytical queries within SAP S/4HANA to provide ad-hoc and standard reports.
   • Work with business users and functional teams to create tailored analytical reports, leveraging embedded reporting tools and embedded analytics within SAP S/4HANA.
   • Optimize the performance of embedded analytics, ensuring that the reports provide real-time data with minimal latency.
5. Data Integration and Data Models
   • Oversee data integration processes from SAP S/4HANA to other SAP BTP services (including SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence) and third-party systems to ensure accurate and seamless reporting.
   • Develop data models and ensure efficient data extraction processes from SAP S/4HANA for reporting purposes.
   • Implement best practices for data transformation, modelling, and integration to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
6. Reporting Solutions and Dashboards
   • Lead the design, development, and deployment of business reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to various business departments such as finance, operations, procurement, HR, and sales.
   • Work with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements and ensure reports meet business needs and compliance standards.
   • Implement performance monitoring and troubleshooting for SAP reporting systems, ensuring that reports and dashboards run efficiently.
7. Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics Strategy
   • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define the BI and analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and digital transformation objectives.
   • Work with IT teams to ensure that reporting solutions are scalable, adaptable, and efficient, supporting future business growth and innovation.
   • Define the overall data governance strategy, ensuring that reports are accurate, reliable, and comply with data security policies.
8. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, logistics, operations, HR, etc.) to understand business reporting and analytics requirements, ensuring that the solutions meet their needs.
   • Serve as a key point of contact for business stakeholders on analytics and reporting needs, providing expert advice and guidance.
   • Manage communication with internal and external vendors, SAP consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and solution implementation.
9. Continuous Improvement and Optimization
   • Monitor and optimize SAP reporting and analytics solutions to ensure peak performance, scalability, and flexibility in meeting evolving business requirements.
   • Stay up to date with SAP’s latest offerings in analytics and BI, evaluating new tools and techniques to improve reporting capabilities.
   • Proactively identify and address bottlenecks, performance issues, or areas for improvement in SAP reporting and analytics solutions.
10. Training and Knowledge Sharing
    • Provide training and mentoring to business users and internal teams on best practices for using SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics, and SAP Datasphere.
    • Share knowledge of reporting and analytics solutions to foster continuous improvement across the organization.
    • Develop and maintain documentation for reporting solutions, ensuring that processes, configurations, and best practices are clearly documented and accessible.

Required Experience, Qualification and Certifications

1. Professional Experience
   • Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP reporting and analytics, with at least 5 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
   • Proven experience leading the implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and integration with SAP S/4HANA.
   • Expertise in data warehousing, data modelling, and data integration using SAP Datasphere and other SAP BTP services.
   • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics, including CDS views, Fiori apps, and S/4HANA reports.
   • Experience working with large-scale reporting solutions, including business intelligence (BI) tools and dashboard creation.
2. Educational Qualifications
   • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
   • Relevant SAP certifications in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere, SAP BusinessObjects, or related areas are highly desirable.
3. Technical Expertise
   • Strong experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting, planning, and predictive analytics.
   • Proficiency in SAP Datasphere for data warehousing and integration across SAP and non-SAP systems.
   • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics and the configuration of CDS views and analytic queries.
   • Strong knowledge of data modelling, ETL processes, and data integration best practices in SAP environments.
   • Familiarity with other SAP reporting tools like SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Lumira, or third-party BI platforms is a plus.
4. Process and Methodologies
   • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks for delivering reporting and analytics solutions.
   • Strong understanding of data governance and best practices for ensuring data quality, security, and privacy in reporting and analytics.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in the aviation, travel, or related industries.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data integration.
