Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SAP FICO Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing functional and strategic expertise in the SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. This role involves leading implementations, enhancements, and support activities, ensuring that financial processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. Location: Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FICO solutions to support business processes.
• Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP functional designs.
• Configure FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO (Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, COPA).
• Ensure proper integration between FICO and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and HR.
• Conduct functional testing, user acceptance testing, and prepare related documentation.
• Provide expert-level support for incidents, enhancements, and system optimization.
• Train key users and provide guidance on SAP best practices and process improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP financial solutions and recommend innovations to improve financial reporting and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant, including at least 2 full-cycle implementations.
• Strong understanding of financial and controlling business processes.
• Experience in integrating FICO with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, cost accounting, and month-end closing processes.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage client expectations effectively.
• SAP FICO certification is an advantage.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
