Qualifications

• At least 8 years (Solution Architect) / 10 years (Senior Solution Architect) of experience with SAP, Java, Azure or cloud environments.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in developing BTP custom applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, React, or Angular.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

To expand our team in the APAC region, we are looking for SAP Cloud Platform/ BTP Solution Architect/ Senior Solution Architect.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze functional and technical requirements and design scalable IT solutions within the SAP ecosystem.
• Implement customer requirements using Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, React, Angular, and SAP Business Technology Platform services.
• Build, develop, and deploy custom applications end-to-end using SAPUI5 (freestyle and Flexible Programming Model), SAP Fiori, and SAP CAP (CAP JS).
• Design and implement SAP BTP solutions for SAP S/4HANA integration, extension, and automation.
• Develop cloud extensions using SAP BTP including Cloud Foundry Environment ABAP Environment, Work Zone, and Build Process Automation.
• Leverage SAP HANA Cloud for data modeling, advanced analytics, and high-performance application development.
• Extend SAP S/4HANA functionalities using side-by-side extensibility and microservices architectures.
• Write technical documentation, test scripts, and maintain project-related artefacts.
• Implement SAP BTP security best practices: authentication, authorization, identity management, and compliance.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize SAP BTP solutions for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical leads to drive digital transformation initiatives.
• Stay continuously updated on emerging SAP BTP innovations, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

• Core Technical Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • At least 8 years (Solution Architect) / 10 years (Senior Solution Architect) of experience working with SAP, Java, Azure, or cloud environments in customer-facing implementation projects.
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in developing at least two (2) full-stack BTP custom applications, including:
    • SAPUI5 freestyle development
    • Flexible Programming Model
    • SAP CAP JS (Node.js)
    • Build Process Automation
    • SAP Build Work Zone
  • Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, React, or Angular.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and SAP Business Application Studio.
  • Experience with HANA backend development (XSJS, XSA, SQL, CDS Views).
  • Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA processes in Sales, Service, Logistics, or Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP BTP architecture, integration patterns, and security models.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP RAP and ABAP is an added advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite would be an added advantage.
  • Experience in cloud application development outside SAP is an added advantage.
  • BTP presales experience is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • SAP BTP certifications are beneficial.
  • Utilize SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors) for seamless integration with external and internal systems is an added advantage.
