Qualifications

About the Job

• To maintain SAP BASIS to ensure optimum performance and reliability at all times
• Responsible for 2nd and preferably 3rd-level SAP Basis support and system maintenance
• To execute system health checks, daily monitoring of system performance & tuning, system installation, upgrade, patching, SAP Note check & implementation, client copies/system refreshes, transport management, user administration, etc.
• To support project, if there is any
• To manage incident tickets or execute CR handling (security & authorization, job administration, connection problems, troubleshooting functional topics, etc.)
• To provide sustainable support on system optimization, monitoring, and problem analysis/resolution
• To identify root‑cause of certain problems, work together with superior on service‑impacting issues and participate in follow‑up actions to restore service back to normal levels
• To follow company policies and documented procedures when resolving issues & highlight possible improvements to the procedures

About the Manager/Team

The role is an individual contributor role where you will be working with other functional, technical consultants, business analysts and project managers on a daily support role within SAP BASIS. You will also be supported by vendors.

About Requirements

• Someone who has at least 3 years of experience in either SAP BASIS within an implementation project and/or support (L2/L3) is an added but not compulsory.
• Someone with at least 1 full‑cycle end‑to‑end implementation project on a regional or global basis is an added but not compulsory.
• Someone with exposure to any of these areas: SAP S/4HANA / ECC 6.0 / SAP CRM / SAP PI / SAP BW / SAP Portal / SAP Solution Manager / SAP ABAP is an added but not compulsory.
• Those with exposure to any of these OS & database technologies: SUNSolaris / LINUX RedHat / Oracle / Windows Server / Microsoft SQL Server is an added but not compulsory.
• Someone with experience in Project Management & Vendor Management is an added advantage but not compulsory.
• Someone within Manufacturing / Semiconductor industry experience is an added advantage but not compulsory.
